In my wonderful pretend hospital town, we play imaginative activities and make people feel better. Many rooms and personalities exist, including nurses, physicians, patients, and guests. I enjoy traveling and making up stories.
EXPLORE THE LOBBY AND FRONT DESK
I see tons of intriguing things when I enter the hospital lobby. Colorful fish swim in a large fish tank along one wall. I enjoy tapping the window and seeing them flee. The front desk checks patients in for appointments. I sometimes sign folks in on the computer as the receptionist. Then, I offer them shirt-mounted visitor stickers.
EXAM ROOM IMAGINATION GAMES
My favorite spot to pretend is in the exam rooms. I can examine a patient’s heartbeat with a stethoscope. They lie on the table so I can see their bones on the X-ray lightbox. After finishing, I print the scans from the machine. I can wheel patients to the surgical room. I faked a boy breaking his leg and put on a large white cast.
SNACKING IN THE CAFETERIA
A cafeteria for staff and visitors is essential for any pretend-play hospital. Small round tables and plastic chairs are set up. The kitchen features a grill, oven, and sinks for delicious meals. I like making hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone. I serve people with a tray. We serve chips, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. You can buy anything with fake money at the register.
PEACEFUL HOSPITAL GARDEN
My favorite way to relax from the hospital is to wander through the garden. The grass is beautifully green, and the stone road winds past many flowers. I see tulips, roses, lilies, and sunflowers everywhere. Some trees have lovely birds singing, and bushes have butterflies. Sitting on a bench and relaxing is great. Just staring at the flora and animals makes me feel better.
NURSERY GAMES WITH BABIES
The nursery is one of my favorite hospital areas to play in. Walls are lined with cribs with charming sleeping baby dolls. I sometimes play baby and snuggle in a soft blue blanket. Other times, I’m the pleasant nurse. I gently pick up sobbing babies and rock them. The nursery also has rattles, cuddly animals, and picture books. Giving baby dolls bottles or changing their diapers is entertaining. This hospital nursery-like area is joyful and charming.
