To help with distance calculations, Measure Map is an easy-to-use yet robust app that lets users find the distance between any two or more points on Earth. In particular, the app makes it easy to find the exact direct distance between two points, A and B, with only two taps: press the map once to set the first marker and then tap again to set the second. Get the distance between the two points right away with Measure Map.
MAKE USE OF NUMEROUS MARKERS
In addition to calculating straight-line distances, Measure Map allows users to add extra markers to lengthier, multi-leg journeys that cover a succession of sites to calculate the total walking or driving distances. With this feature, users may create a path or form by starting with a “start” marker and tapping to add other markers along the way. The app will show the total distance between all the markers in the chain as it updates in real time. This helps map out and obtain totals for hiking paths, vacation routes, property lines, and other things. When mapping and measuring an entirely enclosed area, you’ll need at least three markers, but you’ll only need two when doing a simple point-to-point distance measurement.
CREATE AREA AND DISTANCE READOUTS
Automatically generating distance measurement readouts across various popular geographic and imperial units is a fundamental capability given by Measure Map. To make things easier and more flexible for users, the app shows the point-to-point span distance in many units of measurement as soon as markers are added or changed. These units include meters, kilometers, feet, miles, and yards.
The total enclosed area within given borders can also be calculated and shown by Measure Map for multi-point journeys or enclosed boundary areas with at least three location markers. Various area units are recognized and used, such as square meters, kilometers, feet, square nautical miles, yards, acres, and hectares. The variety covers the most common area measurement demands.
PERSONALIZE MAP VIEWS
Measure Map provides users with a one-tap way to change the type of map shown, improving mapping visualization, navigation, and how markers are placed. Street maps, satellite images, topographical maps, and hybrid overlay views are available as toggles. Adjusting the interface for general utility, visually scouting areas of interest, pinpointing places, and accounting for landscape factors are all made easier with the ability to choose alternative map views.
